Autographs via the Mail

This section is a chronicle of my foray into collecting autographs through the mail. I haven't done it in a while but maybe in the future if time permits. In the meantime enjoy the autographs on these pages.

This is one of my favorites. This is a nice autographed card of my favorite baseball player. Joe retired from baseball in 1999, but he was doing play by play for CTV Sportsnet in 2000 and I sent this card to him C/O Ctv Sportsnet and was pleased when this came back. What made me even more happy was that this was received super fast.
Another autograph from my favorite team. I was trying to do a complete team set but I was never able to get enough time to send out to all the members of the Jays so I sent to a few of them that I could. This signature is a nice one of the surprise pitchers of the Jays pitching staff in 2000.
This is another nice one from the pattern that is showing up here. This one is from another member of the Jays team that I got a few autographs from.
This one breaks the pattern but it is an acceptable exception. Vladimir was one of the best players of the year 2000 and a true baseball superstar in the making who has the misfortune of playing in front of very small crowds and getting little fanfare in Montreal.
This is a nice autograph of Frank Mahovolich I picked up in person when I went to NHL Fantasy during the Toronto All-Star game this past year. Frank signed this after talking to the FAN 590 Radio station at the Expo and he signed this after leaving the broadcast position and then moved very quickly to avoid other people trying to get autographs. I was pretty lucky.
